BFD posted a no­tice for The Daniel Thompson Poet Stone Fund ben­e­fit that is hap­pen­ing on February 12, in Little Italy. Here are some of his po­ems and some other press. Join us on Saturday, February 12th, 2005, at 7:30 p.m., at al­ge­bra t-house in Cleveland’s Little Italy for an evening of po­etry, polemics, and per­for­mance to ben­e­fit “The Daniel Thompson Poet Stone Fund.”

This ab­solutely free event is be­ing held to raise do­na­tions for a tomb­stone in Lakeview Cemetery for Cuyahoga County’s late, great poet lau­re­ate, Daniel Thompson, who passed away in May, 2004.
The evening will fea­ture sched­uled read­ers and per­form­ers as well as an open mic ses­sion.
Alegebra t-house is lo­cated at 2136 Murray Hill Road in Little Italy.
